The Sully Buttes Chargers will be at home for the final time this season as the Faulkton Area Trojans will be in town to close out the season for the girls on senior night.
The Chargers will honor the seniors on Thursday with both the boys and girls playing in the final home game of the year as the Charger girls are still hoping to have a home game in the Region Tournament, but will need a win tonight to help make it happen. Sully Buttes, at 10-9, face the 14-5 Trojans who are currently in second in the 6B standings. Faulkton dropped a five point decision to Miller and have lost three of five coming into tonight. Stevie Wittler, Addyson Chicoine and Natlie Miles will be honored tonight as the three Charger seniors.
The boys team wants to continue to chug along, but will face a tough Trojan squad tonight. Faulkton is the top team in 6B at 14-4 and have won 11 of the last 12 games. It’s one of two teams with an above .500 record in the last three games for Sully Buttes as the Chargers sit in sixth place at 7-10. Sully Buttes will honor Logan Severson, the lone Charger senior tonight.
