PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board of Education is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building in Pierre. Board members will consider approval of an eight-item consent calendar before getting into a lighter action agenda. The Board will hear comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt before Board members will consider comments along with the public. An update from the Riggs Student Senate is also on the agenda. The Board will consider final action and adoption of changes to handbooks for Riggs High School, Georgia Morse Middle School and the Pierre Elementary Schools. Board members will also consider adoption of the 2024-25 legal calendar along with donations; resignations and retirements and any contract items. The agenda also includes consideration of an administrative rule waiver an an executive session for personnel under South Dakota Codified Law one-dash-25-dash-two; parens four and one.
