FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Stanley County Commission is holding it’s February regular meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider a resolution for a plat and discuss outside lights and cameras for the north side of the Courthouse building. Emergency Manager Troy Blevins will meet with Commissioners about emergency management standard operating procedures and discussing outdoor warning siren activation policies. Fairgrounds manager Scott Deal and Highway Superintendent Lee Smith are also on the agenda to meet with Commissioners. The Commission will consider the purchase and finance agreement for a 2024 John Deer motor grader and will hear the 2023 Coroner report with Coroner Gary Grittner. Also on the agenda is a resolution to consider a Wildland Fire Division designee, a server for the Sheriff’s Office, drop cord project at the Hayes Shop and a combined School Board/County Commission election agreement. Commissioners will also consider two raises, abatements, a utility occupancy permit, an ordinance on hazardous material pipelines and an executive session for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five-pm.
