It’s one of the furthest road trips of the season for the Sully Buttes Chargers, but tonight both the boys and girls will be in Timber Lake to take on the Panthers.
The Charger girls are taking on the 3-5 Panthers after not having to play its game to Leola/Frederick back on Saturday at the Hanson Classic. The Chargers are coming in looking to get back on track at now 4-6 after its loss to the Miller Rustlers last week Thursday. After a rigorous last couple of weeks the Chargers have just two games this week before a complete week off from Thursday to Thursday.
On the boys side, the Chargers are looking to continue making strides heading into its match up tonight. Both teams were scheduled to play on Saturday at the Pheasant Shootout in Redfield but both teams didn’t make the trip because of the extreme cold canceled the Shootout and forcing both teams off for the day. Tonight is the only game of the week for the Charger boys and will be off until next week Tuesday when the travel down to Ft. Pierre to face Stanley County.
DT Meyer will make the haul to Timber Lake tonight for the call of the games. The girls will play first around 6:30 and the boys game will follow as both games will be on Country 95.3 and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports.
