The State Cross Country meet would finish on Saturday with a perfect day of weather. Jared Lutmer of Pierre, would take home first place in the AA boys race with a time of 15:15.
Pierre
The Governor boys would place seventh overall as a team as Caleb Morris would also place ninth at 16:06. On the girls side, Jayne Lees would place 19th to be the best finishing Governor as the team would be ninth overall.
Stanley County
Kaysen Magee would place 78th in the Girls Class A race while Spencer Sargent was 101 in the boys race for the Stanley County Buffaloes.
Sully Buttes
Jonas Olson would run a 21:22 for the Sully Buttes Chargers in the Class B boys race, good for 108 while Myli Weischedel would be 107th in the girls race.
Miller
Pierce Baumberger would place fourth overall for the Miller Rustlers in the Class A boys race with a time of 15:57. Alex Schumacher would be 17th as the Rustlers placed ninth as a team.
Highmore-Harrold
The Highmore-Harrold girls would have Autumn Fallis leading the way in sixth place overall with a time of 19:43.
Potter County
The Potter County girls team would win the Class B girls race with two inside the top ten for the Battlers. Danikka Kaup would place third overall at 19:20 while Emma Schlachter would be eighth at 20:11. Jayden Ahlemeier would finish just outside the top ten at 11th with a time of 20:38. Nicholas Schlachter would place sixth overall in the Class B boys race for the Battlers.
Jones County
BreAna Aske would place 26th to lead the way for Jones County who placed 14th as a team.
