PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is set to meet for it’s September meeting tonight. The pledge will be performed by Mrs. Schilling’s 5th grade class at Kennedy Elementary School. The Board will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board comments will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate and public comments. The Board will declare any conflicts of interest and will consider approval of construction manager at risk procedures and issuing request for proposals for the Riggs Athletic Addition. Other items for consideration by the Pierre School Board tonight is second reading and adoption to revisions of the classified employee handbook, donations, resignations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at the District Administration Building on Poplar Avenue at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
