PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. Commissioners will consider approval of a three-item consent calendar before moving on to the main agenda. The main agenda is fairly light with only four items up for consideration and/or discussion. First up for Commissioners is first consideration of the plat of Lot 1-R, Block 2 in Farm Island View Estates. The Commission will consider approval of the spray contract of 2023 for Weed and Pest control in Hughes County. Commissioners will consider the purchase of dirt from Sharpe Enterprises.
