PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission has a robust agenda before them tonight. Three items start the meeting in special business. They include a proclamation for Developmental Disabilities Month; honoring the Riggs High Wrestling Champions and U-14 Hockey Champions. The Commission will consider an eight-item consent calendar before considering approval of a Tax Increment Financing district for Chapelle Investments. Commissioners will consider awarding bids for 2023 street projects and curb and gutter work and will hold a public hearing at 5:45 pm for a malt beverage license transfer and wine license application for Hillsview Golf Course. In new business, The Commission will consider approval of a parade route for the St. Patrick’s Day parade, two plat requests and the introduction of a joint plat along with second reading of a budget supplement for the pickleball court project. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building.
