The Pierre Governor girls wrestling team is still doing what they do best, win. Pierre would defeat Harrisburg 36-6 on Friday at home in the first ever girls stand alone ESD dual. Then on Saturday, the Govs would win the Bride of the Monster Tournament in Presho.

Pierre would score an 181 on Saturday beating Canton for first place by near 30 points for the team championship. A total of five Govs picked up individual titles on Saturday as Londyn Allen-Hunsaker in the light 106, Dani Ringstmeyer in the 126, Abby Lewis in the 142, Marlee Shorter in the 190 and Ciara McFarling in the 285 all would win their respective weight classes. Gianna Stangleand in the 132 placed second and Ireland Templeton in the 154 placed third.
