The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes were able to knock of the Dupree Tigers on Thursday with a five set win in its final home game of the year.
The Lady Buffs would win 16-25, 25-18, 25-16, 16-25 and 15-11 to get to 12-11 on the year with just two games remaining. While the third seed was a near lock, the win ensure the Lady Buffs a three seed and an opportunity to host the first round in the Region 6A tournament in a couple of weeks. Dupree falls to 4-8 on the season but are still the fourth team in the region.
Stanley County will finish the season in Kadoka on Tuesday for a triangular with Kadoka Area and New Underwood.
