The Pierre Governors overcame a 10-5 first set deficit to pick up a set win and a four set match win over Rapid City Christian Tuesday night at Riggs High School.
Scores in the match were 25-22, 25-17, 22-25 and 25-21 for Pierre’s ninth win of the season. Ayvrie Kaiser finished with a match high 16 kills while Lily Sanchez added 10 for the Governors. It’s the first time a Governor other than Kaiser had 10 kills in a match. Campbell Boddicker finished with nine kills and Reese Terwilliger had eight. Pierre had 10 aces in the match as Sanchez finished with three and Kaiser and Remington Price each had two. Rapid City Christian was led in kills by Olivia Kieffer and Ana Egge as both had 14 kills apiece. The Lady Comets fall to 20-5 on the year.
