PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. A public hearing on the 2023 budget will be held before Commissioners move through their agenda. Three planning and zoning items are on the agenda. All three are first readings of plat and rezoning requests. The Commission will consider a pay request for Reding Bridge and three agenda items are connected to HIPPA. The first item is an update to the county’s HIPPA policy. The County will also consider appointing a HIIPPA privacy officer and will consider an update to the County’s HIIPPA privacy notice. Personnel items, the claims and reports from the County Manager and liaisons will close out the agenda. An executive session for Care of the Poor and HIPPA is also on the agenda. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm.
