The Pierre Trappers winning streak came to an end on Thursday as the North Iowa Ragin’ Roosters were able to defeat the Trappers at home, 7-4.
The Ragin’ Roosters scored five runs in the first two innings before Pierre was able to score two in the fifth on a double by Will Hoch and a single by Hunter Brown. Hoch and Jacob Griffin each had two hits for the Trappers as Louis Manning took the loss on the mound allowing five runs, two earned, eight hits and three strikeouts.
Pierre is now 11-21 and will continue its series against North Iowa on Friday with first pitch at 6:35.
