Ellie Jo Simpson and the Pierre Governors finished in second place in Rapid City on Thursday as Simpson shot an 80, one shot off the winner, Tanna Phares of Rapid City Stevens, as Pierre shot a 355 as a team with Stevens shooting a 335 for the team win.
All six Governors finished inside the top 15 on the day. Haley Nadeau tied for fourth place with an 87 while Madilyn Brakke had a 93 in eighth, Andrea Mosteller was ninth at 95 and Hadley Hart was 10th with a 98. Hattie Baldwin rounded out the six varsity Governors with a 108 in 15th place.
