Cheyenne-Eagle Butte is playing its best basketball at the right time as the Braves defeating the Stanley County Buffaloes 69-62 in Ft. Pierre.
The Braves how now won four in a row to close out the season while the Buffaloes fall to 13-7 to finish the regular season. Nothing will change in the standings as the Buffaloes will still be the second seed while the Braves will be the five seed as Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will have to Mobrdige to face the Mobrdige-Pollock Tigers in the first round of the Region 6A tournament.
The Buffaloes will host Crow Creek on Tuesday in the first round with the second round and SoDak 16 Qualifying contest scheduled for Friday. The Buffs would host if they win on Tuesday.
