PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Tonight’s meeting starts in special business, where the Commission will give recognition to the South Dakota National Guard. Commissioners will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar. Contained in the calendar are minutes from the February 1st meeting, the claims, a raffle request from the Right Turn and four human resources items. Regular agenda items are brief tonight with only two up for consideration. The Commission will consider requests to bid for construction and expansion of the construction and demolition disposal pit and 2022 street paving projects. Commissioners will round out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
