The start of the new year has not started the way the Oahe Lady Capitals were hoping. The Caps are 0-3-0-1 in 2022 and searching for its first win of the new year as the face the Aberdeen Cougars tonight on the road.
The Cougars are the defending state champions and it’s the first of two regular season meetings between the Caps and Cougars, but the two teams met back in the preseason with Oahe picking up the win. Oahe is in the midst of a six game road trip with the final three games next weekend. Oahe looks to be back at full strength after missing Adisyn Gray last weekend.
Puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 tonight at the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen, the host site of the Girls Varsity Tournament.
