The Pierre Governor gymnastics team finished in fifth place on Saturday in its own home invite. Pierre scored a 130.55 while the Mitchell Kernels went home with the team win with a 146.575. Isabel Jirsa recorded a 9.15 on the beam, which is a qualifying score for the state competition.
The Governors will travel to Rapid City this Saturday for the Gym-O-Rama. The invite begins at noon central time.
