FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is scheduled to meet tonight. The Council will consider approval of the agenda and declare any conflicts of interest before hearing reports from city officials. A public hearing will be held on amendments to current ordinance sections to include references to vacation homes. New business includes hearing 2022 budget subsidy requests and giving second reading to a vacation home ordinance. Second reading will also be given to amending sections of ordinances to include the vacation home reference. The Council will consider a V-W program grant and rebate agreement, a temporary malt beverage license and two temporary liquor license requests. Council members will also consider a personnel matter, engineering for the lagoon project and consideration of a consultant agreement with H-M-E Management.
