The Pierre Trappers will return home on Wednesday following the loss on Tuesday to Sioux Falls 11-10 where they will play the Sunfish again for another two games at Hyde Stadium.
It’s the fifth consecutive loss for the Trappers after having one four in a row to put them over .500. Now, Pierre falls to 6-10 at the quarter mark of the season. The Sunfish scored three runs in each of the seventh and eighth innings to come back on the Trappers who had trailed 9-5 heading into the bottom of the seventh. Bennett Osborn and Eric Mast each drove in a pair of runs for the Trappers who will look to turn things around on Wednesday and Thursday for a quick home stretch before heading back out on the road.
The Trappers will face the Sunfish tonight and tomorrow with first pitch of both games at 7:05 at Hyde Stadium. Pierre will be in Minot, North Dakota this weekend to face the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs for the first time this year.
