BLUNT — The names of two drivers involved in a fatal crash in Hughes County last week have been released by the South Dakota Highway Patrol. The crash happened Wednesday February 24th around 4:25 pm, three miles east of Blunt. A Ford Ranger pickup driven by 68 year-old Thomas Feldman of Blunt was driving north on 314th Avenue when Feldman did not yield to a 2015 GMC Sierra that was traveling west on 198th Street when the vehicles collided. Feldman was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the Sierra, 48 year-old William Dumon of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. The crash is under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
