After the overtime loss on Sunday to the Brookings Rangers, the Oahe Capitals are back on the road again as they face both Sioux Falls teams on Saturday and Sunday.
The Capitals lost for the first time in league play last Sunday but still picked up a huge point on the road by sending the game into overtime. Beginning the weekend, the Capitals will see Sioux Falls 2 first, the number two team in the league currently. Both teams light it up offensively as they are the first and third highest scoring teams in the state. Jorgen Kouri leads the Flyers in goal with 15 while Raef Briggs and Elliot Leif each have 16 to lead the Caps.
On Sunday, the Capitals face a team they beat back in early January in the Sioux Falls 1 Flyers. Ashton Griese scored the game winning goal early in the third period to lift the Caps to a 5-4 win. Kieran Duffy picked up the win with 21 saves.
